Thanks to the incredible support from our School Lottery, we have currently raised over £3,000 last academic year, which we have been able to reinvest into our school. The money raised last year was invested in the installation of a number of floor-to-ceiling wall vinyls around school, which we are proud to share with you!
We are committed to promoting British Values, which are fundamental to fostering a cohesive, inclusive community. One of our new vinyl displays proud promotes our British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, respect and tolerance. These values help prepare our pupils for life in modern Britain, encouraging respect, tolerance, and a sense of belonging.
Assistant Headteacher, Mr. D Inman, said: “British Values underpin what it means to be a citizen in a diverse and modern Britain. They help us challenge prejudice and create an environment free from discrimination and hate, aligning with our own values of Respect, Community, Tenacity, and Aspiration.”
Mrs. Phillips, HR Assistant, (pictured) who has been instrumental in setting up and running our School Lottery, said: “It’s really pleasing to see the success of the lottery and how this is making a difference to our staff and pupils in school. Thank you to everyone who supports our lottery to help us make meaningful improvements like this!”
