We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all that attended our Open Evening event last night. It was brilliant to see so many prospective parents, carers and pupils alike coming to view our school and marvel at the fantastic opportunities we have to offer.
Every one of our departments put on a show – from live dissections and fire experiments taking place in Science, an exciting murder mystery waiting to be solved in Drama, live performances wowing guests in Music, free food samples being handed out by our fantastic catering team and fun-filled quizzes being completed in English and Maths. We had something for everyone to enjoy!
Over 100 of our pupils volunteered to assist with the evening, highlighting the exceptional calibre of learners we have here at Chase Terrace Academy. Each volunteer was the epitome of our school values and our school community was buzzing with the most incredible atmosphere.
We would like to thank each one of our pupil volunteers and every member of staff and visitor who gave up their time to make the evening as special as it was.
Ms N Mason, Headteacher, said: “I am so proud of every single member of staff and pupil involved in our Open Evening. It was fantastic to speak to so many prospective parents, carers and pupils alike to hear their views about our school and its place in the wider community. To hear parents, carers and prospective pupils describe our school as ‘joyous’, a great place to be and that our pupils were ‘full of smiles’ – it warmed my heart. I look forward to seeing some now familiar faces join us to start their CTA journey in the upcoming school year.”
Thank you again to all who visited us last night, we hope to see you again soon!
