This week, our pupils engaged in a fantastic drop-down day, designed to enhance their personal development through a variety of interactive workshops.
Year 7 explored scenario-based decision-making with The Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services using virtual headsets and received vital emergency first aid training with Mrs Benton and Ms Elliot.
Year 8 focused on community building, participating in a refurbishment project in our memorial garden supporting the school’s mental health and wellbeing programme, as well as litter-picking initiatives and an exciting inter-form competition.
Years 9 & 11 attended an insightful workshop by Anji Haywood from the Youth Net on alcohol and drug awareness, alongside completing a ‘Through Their Eyes’ workbook to encourage informed decision-making.
Year 10 had an inspiring day at Staffordshire University, experiencing campus life and future opportunities!
A huge well done to all pupils for their enthusiasm and engagement!
