Last week, two stellar teams composed of our brilliant Year 12 and Year 13 pupils showcased their knowledge and skills at the prestigious Lord Mayor’s Quiz held at the University of Birmingham’s Grand Hall.
This incredible event brought together schools from Birmingham and the surrounding areas, uniting for a noble cause: supporting local charities. Since its inception in 2012, the Lord Mayor’s Charity has successfully raised over 50k!
Our dedicated Sixth Form pupils eagerly participate in this event every year, and this year was no exception. Mr. R Giles, Head of Sixth Form, shared his enthusiasm, saying: “This is an incredible opportunity for our pupils to visit the University of Birmingham and compete with the best young minds in the greater Birmingham area.”
The event was a resounding success, filled with excitement and camaraderie. Mr. Giles continued, “We had a fantastic and enjoyable afternoon. One of our teams achieved the highest score they’ve ever recorded, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishment!”
Congratulations to our outstanding pupils for their exceptional performance!
