A reminder that nominations are open for the JTMAT Exceptional Achievement Award for the Autumn term!  This award is available to all pupils across the John Taylor MAT, and we have been delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our pupils in previous ceremonies.

Secondary school pupils can be nominated based on the following criteria:

– National or international status in any given activity (within the last 18 months)

– Grade 8 or above level/Diploma in music or singing

– Performing in a televised programme/film

– Fundraising over £5000 for charity

– Success in overcoming adversity

Parents, carers, staff, and peers can submit nominations through the online form sent in this letter via the MyChildAtSchool App. Please provide a short paragraph (up to 250 words) detailing the reasons for the nomination.

Successful nominees will meet with Ms Mason, Headteacher, to receive a special pin badge award and a certificate. Additionally, students and their families will be invited to an online celebratory event taking place in December with Mr M Donoghue, CEO of the John Taylor MAT. The deadline for nominations is 4pm on Wednesday 18th November 2026.

We look forward to celebrating the exceptional achievements of our pupils!
