We were delighted to welcome James Lewis to our school recently to speak with our Key Stage 3 students. Earlier this year, James completed an incredible challenge, dribbling a football 2,000 miles from Morocco to Rugeley over 86 days and raising more than £75,000 for charity in memory of his late father.
James is a fantastic example of our school value of Tenacity, and students were inspired by hearing about the challenges he faced, the importance of perseverance, and the positive impact that supporting communities can have.
Having completed his first ever ‘Backyard Ultra’ recently, we are especially grateful that James still made time to visit our students despite what must have been a very tiring few days! We would like to thank him for sharing his remarkable story and wish him the very best of luck as he attends the upcoming Pride of Britain finals.
