We’re looking forward to welcoming our Year 7 parents/carers to our school for our Tutor Evening on Thursday 22nd October, from 4pm to 6.30pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with your child’s Personal Development Tutor, discuss how they’ve settled into life at Chase Terrace Academy, and ask any questions you might have.

Staff will also be available to help with My Child at School (MCAS) and Accelerated Reader, so you can track your child’s progress and support their reading journey. Representatives from the SEND Department and Pastoral Year Team will also be present.

We use an online appointment booking system for Tutor Evenings. Booking slots opened on Monday 12th October at 8am and will close on Monday 19th October at 12pm. The system accepts bookings on a first come, first served basis. There is only availability for one appointment for each pupil rather than one appointment for each parent/carer. We are also hosting an Empowering Families event at the same time where there will be providers available to showcase the support that families and children can access if required. This is open to students in all year groups on a drop-in basis.

We will also have some representatives from clubs, that children are able to join, in the local community to promote positive social activities.
