Sixth Form Super-Curricular offer

Sixth Form Super-Curricular offer

When students begin preparing their university applications – particularly for the most competitive courses and institutions – we introduce the concept of super-curricular engagement as a vital extension of their academic study. Super-curricular activities go beyond the specification, encouraging students to deepen subject knowledge, think critically and independently, and explore their discipline in a broader intellectual context. By engaging in carefully curated opportunities to watch, read, listen, research, explore websites and apps, and visit relevant lectures, exhibitions, and institutions, students cultivate genuine academic curiosity and a stronger love of learning. This not only strengthens university applications but also develops more confident, reflective scholars whose enhanced understanding translates into stronger academic performance. To support this ambition, our staff have prepared subject-specific materials across all sixth form courses, ensuring every student has structured access to high-quality super-curricular opportunities.
