Our peripatetic Music Tuition Programme is now accepting new students for the Spring Term 2026. Pupils have the opportunity to receive high-quality, specialist lessons from experienced tutors across a range of instruments.
We are looking for three students to join group lessons in trumpet, piano, or singing.
The lessons are 30 minutes long and will take place in small groups (2–3 students). The cost is £75 for 10 lessons, and sessions are scheduled during the school day on a rotating timetable to minimise disruption to other subjects.
If your child would like to apply, letters can be collected from Mr Reinikovas or Mr Burns.

As part of our Feel Good Friday celebrations this week, Miss Devereux had the pleasure of meeting Alfie, who was recently awarded a trophy at his karate club. Having only recently joined, Alfie impressed his instructors so much that he earned this recognition, which he proudly brought to school to share with us. We look forward to following Alfie’s karate journey and seeing where it takes him next!

Today, Ms Mason, Headteacher, met with Casey and Callum to recognise their outstanding achievements in swimming. Last night, Casey completed an extraordinary 5,000 metres, and Callum an impressive 2,500 metres, with each swim taking over an hour to complete, to earn their new swimming badges. It was great to hear about their dedication to swimming and their plans to work toward their next badges in the near future. These accomplishments reflect exceptional commitment and resilience, and we are incredibly proud of both students.

Today, we were proud to see two of our pupils recognised at the John Taylor MAT Exceptional Achievement Awards. This award is available to all pupils across the 21 schools in the JTMAT Trust, and we have been delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Logan and Connie in this ceremony.
Logan was nominated for his exceptional progress in swimming, competing at national level, with Mr Donoghue, CEO of John Taylor MAT, describing his journey as a “meteoric rise.” Connie received the Headteacher’s nomination for her achievements in football, representing Wolverhampton Wanderers, currently on loan to Worcester, and training with England at national level. Mr Donoghue highlighted her bright future in the sport.
We are immensely proud of both pupils – not only for their remarkable sporting success but also for the maturity, humility, and respect they demonstrate every day. They are exemplary role models for our school community and well deserving of this recognition.
