Sixth Form bake sale

A huge congratulations to our Sixth Form pupils for their fantastic efforts in supporting Crisis at Christmas! Their ‘Band T-Shirt Day’ and bake sale was a huge success, raising over £600! A special shout-out to Adam, who won the cake competition! We are incredibly proud of their hard work and generosity in helping those in need this festive season. Well done, everyone!

CTA Music School!

Our Music School has been a tremendous success! Pupils are enjoying their guitar, piano/keyboard, drums, and singing lessons, and we couldn’t be prouder of their progress and enthusiasm. 

We’re thrilled to announce that spaces are now open for the Spring Term! Lessons will begin on 6th January 2025. 

If your child is interested in music lessons, a registration letter can be collected from Mr E Reinikovas, Head of Music.

Chess Club

Our pupils have been having a fantastic time at Chess Club! Led by Sixth Form pupils, the club meets every Thursday lunchtime in A24 and welcomes all year groups. It’s been a wonderful opportunity for pupils to develop strategic skills and enjoy a bit of friendly competition.

It’s Thankful Thursday!

Today, our Senior Leadership Team met with some outstanding pupils to celebrate their achievements and contributions to our school community.

Miss Devereux congratulated Nathan, Year 7, for being a respectful community member who is supportive of his family and incredibly kind and patient with his younger cousins.

Mrs. Cain celebrated Jackson, Year 7, who has shown exceptional dedication in German, consistently going above and beyond to answer questions and help his classmates.

Mr. Cain met with our Sixth Form TRAC Team to celebrate their recent milestone—over 150 followers on their new page!

Swimming success!

We are immensely proud of Mr M Evans, Maths teacher, who recently competed at the Swim England Masters Nationals in the 25-29 age group!

Mr. Evans earned:

Gold – 200 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, and 400 Freestyle 

Silver – 200 Individual Medley 

Bronze – 100 Fly, 100 Back, and 50 Back 

Congratulations to Mr Evans on this fantastic achievement! His hard work and tenacity serve as an inspiring example for all our pupils.
