At CTA we’re dedicated to providing our pupils with the best possible learning environment. We’re thrilled to announce the completion of a full blind refurbishment project over the Easter break!
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Year 12 pupils, George and Harry, who are members of our Pupil Leadership Team, classrooms in Humanities, Maths, English, and MFL are now fitted with brand new roller blinds.
Mrs S Morgan, Business Manager, said: “George and Harry took the lead on this project, conducting thorough audits and gathering quotes from contractors to ensure the best possible outcome. Their commitment to excellence and attention to detail ensured that the project was completed by Contract & Home Blinds Ltd – who we would highly recommend as a reliable contractor.”
We’re incredibly proud of George, Harry, and all those involved in making this project a reality.
We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Holmes Outdoor Maintenance for their exceptional effort in cleaning our entire Year 7 courtyard during the Easter holidays.

On the last day of term (during non-uniform day) we celebrated the exceptional dedication and positive attitude displayed by our Year 11 pupils during their recent mock examinations.
Members of the Maths, English, and Science departments came together to each nominate three outstanding pupils who have truly exemplified hard work and commitment to their studies. These pupils have shown resilience, determination, and tenacity that is truly inspiring.
In recognition of their efforts, we hosted a special Pizza Morning to celebrate these exemplary pupils! It’s moments like these that remind us of the incredible potential and talent within our school community.
Congratulations to the deserving recipients and keep up the fantastic work!

Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, we reflect on the importance of understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. Though we are currently on Easter break, our school community remains dedicated to raising awareness and fostering inclusivity.
As World Autism Awareness Day falls during the Easter break, our pupils participated in assemblies led by Mrs. T Waters, our SENCo before the holiday. These sessions aimed to educate our pupils about the intricacies of autism and the challenges that individuals on the spectrum might encounter, particularly within the school environment. By raising awareness, we aim to create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and included.
As a community, we strive to promote acceptance, empathy, and support for individuals with autism. By raising awareness and promoting understanding, we can create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
Wishing all our pupils, staff, parents/carers, and wonderful school community a very Happy Easter! Enjoy the well-deserved break and the festivities that come with it!
